Our Services

Veterans of Comedy brings laughter and healing through live shows and events.

We offer engaging performances by veteran comedians that connect military and civilian audiences. Below is just some of the things we can help with.

  • Comedy for a Cause Night
A regular stand-up showcase where a portion (or all) of ticket sales goes to a local nonprofit (veterans orgs, food pantry, children’s programs, disaster relief, etc.). Build it around one clear mission each month.

  • First Responder + Veteran Appreciation Show
A clean, high-energy show honoring police, fire, EMS, and veterans. Offer discounted/free tickets, do quick shout-outs, and partner with local sponsors to cover seats.

  • Benefit Roast (Done Respectfully)
Roast a willing local “good sport” (mayor, principal, coach, business owner) with guidelines: keep it fun, not cruel. Sell tables like a fundraiser gala and raise money for a specific community need.

  • “Laughs & Supplies” Drive
Entry is a donation item instead of (or alongside) a ticket—canned food, coats, diapers, pet supplies, school supplies. Donate everything to a local organization the next morning with photos and receipts for transparency.

  • Clean Comedy Family Night
A family-friendly show early evening with interactive games and audience participation. Great for schools, churches, youth programs, and community centers.

  • Comedy + Resource Fair
Pair a short comedy set (30–45 minutes) with booths from local services: VA reps, mental health resources, job placement, housing help, addiction recovery, etc. Comedy lowers the guard; resources help people take the next step.

  • Open Mic for the Community
A supportive open mic where locals can tell stories, do 3 minutes, read something, or share. Host it with structure and kindness. Use it to build community connection and spotlight local voices.

  • Hospital / Assisted Living “Mini Sets”
Short, respectful sets designed for patients, caregivers, and seniors. Keep it light, inclusive, and adaptable. These are huge for morale.

  • Comedy Workshops for Teens
A 4–6 week “writing + confidence” workshop ending in a showcase. Helps with public speaking, self-expression, and self-esteem. Can be done through schools, Boys & Girls Clubs, or libraries.

  • Workplace Wellness Comedy
Short shows for local employers (factories, offices, city departments) focused on stress relief and team morale—especially after hard seasons or layoffs.

  • Community Storytelling Night
Mix stand-up with real stories from locals (vets, teachers, nurses, small business owners). It’s comedy + humanity. People leave feeling closer.

  • Motivational Speaking/Testimony
Bring one of our veteran comedians to your community, workplace, school, or church for clean, uplifting comedy and motivational speaking that inspires, connects, and leaves people feeling stronger than when they walked in.

  • Fundraising Tournament + Comedy Afterparty
Partner with a local softball/bowling/poker fundraiser and cap it with a comedy show. People are already there to support a cause—comedy is the perfect close.
